Beach Read

Book is coming out in the next few weeks, so I guess that makes it a Summer Read which I guess makes it a Beach Read which I guess makes it a Sandy Sensation. Personally, books always feel a little cozier in the late fall/early winter when your body is telling you it’s time to turn in for the year. It’s the perfect excuse to stay inside and read a book instead of going outside and working? Sweating? Standing in the unforgiving wind? Sorry, just had an Oklahoma flashback.

Maybe I subconsciously knew my debut was going to come out in the summer while I’m running around on some sand somewhere from the looks of all the pictures on this shabby website. I mean, what’s my deal? Have I never seen a sunset before? Or maybe my heart is still pure enough to enjoy the freebies in life. And, last time I checked, no evil corporation has capitalized on the viewing of sunsets (or sunrises - shout out my east coast peeps) yet so I’m going to pull up while I still have the freedom. I hope you don’t overlook the freebies in life.

And, maybe, if we’re both lucky, I’ll stumble into you reading my book baby while you sip something strong in the sand. Or, if we’re really gambling folks here, you’ll bump into me while I’m soaking in the sun and these moments in life.

I’m probably done with the Antiblog for the summer - ya know, summer hours and whatnot. I’ll be promoting the book plenty in every other facet of life, so who needs some blog that y’all don’t read and I don’t care about much. Life is better off the blogs anyways. Still, since I’m a nice guy, I’ll leave y’all with some summer songs to push through your ear drums in between all that water and sand.

Summer Chunes:

  • KAYTRAMINE - Album vibes off the charts

  • NxWorries - For those late-night summer drives

    • Their tour should be of the highest quality

  • Redveil - For all those who want to be their own boat captains this summer
